Hana Bassett is an artist, printmaker, and writer born and bred in Cumbria, UK. Her work celebrates the liminal - peering between the thin places where stories of myth and legend overlap with our human and more-than-human worlds. This is where she rests, embracing the otherness of living in a chronically ill and disabled body, of being queer in a binary-centric society and using this as fuel for creating.

When she isn't carving and printing, writing or painting, she can be found scouring second-hand book shops for anything about folklore, or sitting in the woods with her notebook waiting for the moss-covered rocks to speak.
