I am a self-taught painter using mainly Acrylics but venturing into coloured pencils and watercolours. I only started painting in 2019 after retiring to the Lake District UK and being inspired by the landscape around me. I paint for myself but hope others enjoy my work. I paint because I like what it does to me. After many years of travel. where I thought I was very observant, I now feel I can actually see things for the first time.

I have been a member of Green Door since 2020 and a member of UK Coloured Pencil Society since 2021. I have a wide range of subjects. I like to vary my work so as to challenge myself and learn new techniques.
