Paint – Draw – Print
Karen works across media, painting, drawing and print making, selecting media to respond to a variety of reference sources, particularly those found in the landscape, natural and man made.

Excited by the creation of colour in her paintings, she also finds the quality of the marks produced in printmaking particularly fascinating. Experiencing the excitement of the reveal is one of the joys of working with printmaking processes. She continually seeks to develop her art practice through experimentation and exploration of the wonderful qualities of different media, often combining materials to create mixed media images.
