My childhood was filled with embroidery, patchwork and knitting. This led to a degree in printed textiles at Edinburgh College of Art.

Now I work with mixed media to create intricate collages, using materials many would discard. Handstitching plays a major part – I love the process and the line it gives.
Inspiration comes from the beautiful area in which I live, the routine of everyday life and more recently from my own home and belongings.
