​Since childhood I have been interested in colour, fabrics and yarns and have explored many textile techniques. A City & Guilds qualification in Creative Studies has assisted me in developing ideas for my artwork and 3D pieces.

​The beautiful landscape around us provides a wealth of source material and I am constantly striving to find new topics and new ways of depicting these in felt, hand and machine embroidery and other textile techniques.
