I am a retired veterinary surgeon and spend a lot of time painting and fell walking in the Lake district and Yorkshire Dales where I obtain a lot of inspiration for my paintings.

I paint mainly landscapes in oil and acrylic and try to convey some of my love of the Lake District by creating a mood of light, weather and emotion.

I have been painting in various media for 30 years and exhibit in exhibitions in Lancaster Museum, Milnthorpe and various shops in Lancaster.
