A love of nature, specifically plants and wildflowers, is the main inspiration behind my work.

I create etchings and monoprints to capture detail and texture, then hand paint with watercolour.

The monoprints are made using plants, leaves, feathers or whatever catches my eye when out walking, or in my garden. The most unassuming plants often make the most interesting prints. The unpredictability of printmaking in this way is what I particularly enjoy.
