Private View – Thursday 30 November, 7.00 – 9.00 pm

We’re heading to Staveley Roundhouse for a weekend of Affordable Art from 1 – 3 December.  With more than 200 pieces of work from Green Door artists, the exhibition includes paintings, prints, photographs, ceramics, glass, wood, jewellery, textiles and sculpture, all priced at £150 or less.  There will also be cards, notebooks and other small items.  It’s the ideal place to do some Christmas shopping for that special gift or to treat yourself to a beautiful piece of work.

Lynda Gray

We have stained glass sculptures from Debbie Copley, wire drawings from Brie Wharf and wooden Shaker boxes from Keith Shorrock.   Angie Mitchell will be bringing her new printed lampshades, Jane Mallinson has felt accessories and jewellery, and Evelyn Sinclair has her painted ‘tea bags’.  We also have prints from Marion Kuit, Barbra Cropper, Sue David, Kath Lockhart and Marie Wright, and David Pooley’s paintings of Cumbria landscapes and wildlife.  Mary Taylor and Maddy Wright will be showing their textile and embroidery work, and there will be mixed media work from Cally Lawson and Marjorie Park.
