15 – 17 November 2019

We’re returning to Staveley Roundhouse for our annual Affordable Art weekend with a wealth of work from our members – all priced at £150 or less.  As well as the work for which Green Door is renowned, including paintings, prints and ceramics, the Roundhouse will be brimming with smaller items including jewellery, textiles, books, mugs, calendars, notebooks and the ever-popular greetings cards.

Staveley Roundhouse is a unique space which provides the perfect setting to show off those small but beautiful items alongside the larger work which visitors expect to see from Green Door.  Whether you’re buying for yourself or making an early start on your Christmas shopping, this is the ideal place to start.  Here’s a taster:

“My sculptural work combines found items and purchased/made work. In this case kiln wire  and a distressed wooden board are used with glazed terracotta clay.”
Roger Bell

Robert Finch

“My pictures are formed from sculpted silk, collage and Brusho dye. I love the bright colours and unpredictable qualities of this method of working.”
Gilli Slater

“ I try to capture the essence of a subject, the colours, the shapes, the composition, and form them into a new image that also expresses part of me and how I can see the world around me.”
Robert Finch
