Welcome to the 2023 GreenDoor Art Trail

Fri 29 September – Sunday 1 October across Cumbria.

The Art Trail is one of our most popular events and we are very excited to showcase the creativity of our members. We have 32 artists taking part this year in a variety of venues, representing a range ofdifferent media, printmaking, painting, mixed media, textiles, ceramics and photography.

It is a great opportunity to visit the artists’ venues and talk to them about their work, in some cases see work in progress and purchase some of their work.

Most of our artists’ venues are open on Saturday and Sunday but some are also open on Friday. Check the brochure for opening times. You will also find within the brochure details about the artists involvedand directions to the venues.

This has been a very successful year so far for Green Door artists with over six exhibitions of our members’ work taking place. Also, many of our members have had solo and joint exhibitions. We are rounding off the year with our usual Affordable Art exhibition at Staveley Roundhouse from Friday 17th November – Sunday 19th November. This is a great opportunity to buy some early Christmas presents and cards.

The newsletter also highlights what our individual members, a very active group of artists, are doing throughout the year.
